Snowy Day

Winter is underway in Kindergarten.
The children have been reading The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats.
Click here to watch a reading of the story.

We have been learning different reading strategies such as visualizing, making connections, and opinion.  The children have been working hard.

Next, the students have continued to sequence and retelling the story events.  Ask your child to retell the story!

The children had fun sequencing the events of the stories using these picture cards as a whole group!

Science Tellers

On Thursday, the children had the opportunity to enjoy a learning experience from Justin, the Science Teller.
We were able to see lots of different experiments with dry ice and its effects with water.
Justin, the Science Teller, was very careful to explain the safety measures needed for each experiment.
It was great fun!
